The regulations regarding recruiting legal assistance in civil actions can be found in the Code of Civil Procedure (ZPO). A legal assistance is usually possible in all civil proceedings. This also applies to a discrimination lawsuit, which might be submitted because of the characteristics mentioned in § 1 AGG. Associations can perform the role of a legal advisor and have a further advisory function.
