On April 18th, 2009 the Bureau for the Implementation of Equal Treatment (BUG) was founded. Since then, we have filed various discrimination lawsuits and have been able to make a difference. On the occasion of our 10th anniversary we celebrated with all our colleagues, interns, supporters and friends on April 12th, 2019.

As part of the program, we presented an overview of the activities of BUG over the past 10 years and discussed 'Public Sector Duties'. You can view the presentation and panel discussion here. A big thank you goes to our panelists Sebastian Walter (speaker for anti-discrimination and queer policy of Bündnis 90/Die Grünen parliamentary group in the Berlin House of Representatives) and Dr. Anna Katharina Mangold (professor for European law at the European University Flensburg).
