BUG strives for a society largely free of discrimination. By supporting complaints, BUG aims to achieve legal clarity. In order to end discrimination sustainably or to prevent it where possible, BUG aims to inform political decision-makers about structures of discrimination and to offer constructive solutions and methods for tackling it. BUG does this generally in very concrete and specific contexts. BUG encourages, for example, an amendment to the Länder code on pubs and restaurants, in order to develop a legal means to combat ethnic discrimination by club-owners.
