Internal complaint offices

A service or work agreement may take up principles of equal treatment. An example of this is the work agreement of the Berliner Stadtreinigungsbetriebe (BSR). You can find this one here.

§ 13 AGG obliges employers to set up an internal complaints office to which employees are entitled to turn if they feel discriminated against by their ethnic origin, gender, religion or belief, disability, age or sexual identity. However, such a post was rarely set up, especially in private enterprises. The BUG has drawn up a comprehensive concept for setting up in-house complaints offices. The concept is intended to serve as a handbook for companies and administrations on how the office could be meaningfully organized on personnel and organizational level and how it could be integrated into existing complaint structures. The concept represents a "modular construction system," which provides information - depending on the size and location of the company - on how the internal complaints office can be set up.

You will find the concept here (only available in German).
