Lobbying activities

§ 13 AGG obliges employers to set up an internal complaints mechanism. BUG developed a proposal which you can find here.

BUG strives for a society largely free of discrimination. By supporting complaints, BUG aims to achieve legal clarity. In order to end discrimination sustainably or to prevent it where possible, BUG aims to inform political decision-makers about structures of discrimination and to offer constructive solutions and methods for tackling it. BUG does this generally in very concrete and specific contexts. BUG encourages, for example, an amendment to the Länder code on pubs and restaurantsin order to develop a legal means to combat ethnic discrimination by club-owners.

All current activities in the field of lobbying can be found in the navigation bar above.

The BUG has provided papers and concepts on various topics. We have compiled these for you in an overview.
